I have not heard from my daughter/son/spouse in a while and I wanted to see how things are going. - Many times the teams are in locations where there is no phone/email or they are in countries where for security reason they are not allowed to communicate out. When they are able communicate with us the team will submit a journal entry to update of what the team has been doing. Most likely the team members will also be sending out individual emails or calls. It is also up to the student to contact family with safe arrival to training camp, in country, ect.

I saw on the news a report that concerned me. - If there is a situation regarding weather, natural disasters or polictical situations AIA is in contact with the team and will update the team journals page.

I'm not able to log into my childs account and input their checks. - We do not know what your childs login and password is either and will not be able to help you. You will need to wait until their call or email you and you can ask or till they get home.

There have not been any journal entries - it is up to the team leader's discretion to use the journals. The team might also be in a place where they do not have internet access, time in their schedule or are in a sensitive country. The journals are a helpful tool.
