Athletes in Action Opportunity: Colorado Project

Come and be a part of this unique summer opportunity! Join AIA staff and other spiritually hungry student-athletes for the most impacting summer of your life. The AIA Colorado Project is 8 weeks that will change your life. You will live in authentic Christian community with 40 other Christian athletes, sharing experiences that are new and challenging, building relationships that last a lifetime, and learning ministry skills that will prepare you for a lifetime of ministry.

What is it?

The Colorado Project exists to create an environment for college athletes that will produce life-changing spiritual impact through authentic Christian community, intentional ministry training, and a challenge to live a radically God-centered life.

  • - Learn Biblical principles for your life and your sport
  • - Grow in your personal faith while interacting in genuine Christian community
  • - Learn of God's heart for:
    •        -- non-believers
    •        -- all races, cultures, and nationalities
    •        -- all followers of Christ
  • - Receive training in personal Bible study, evangelism, and discipleship that will equip you to impact your team and campus
  • - Work a job to earn $$$ during the summer
  • - Train with other athletes at great facilities and at high altitude

When is it?

     - Arrive in Ft. Collins June 6th
     - Depart from Ft. Collins August 1st

The Project will last EIGHT weeks. Staff will be presented for the first five, then YOU take over!

The students lead the entire project for the final weeks.

Where is it?

The majestic views, the breath-taking scale and magnitude... There is something truly spiritual about the mountains. Spending the summer with us will give you plenty of time to engage with the wonder of creation as we live at the base of the Rocky Mountains. Ft. Collins Colorado is the home of Colorado State University and is located less than 45 minutes from the heart of the most recognizable mountain range in the United States. Driving north of Denver, the Rockies consume your view west as the plains rise steeply toward the sky.

Cost for the Colorado Project is $2400 per student. We will help prepare you to raise support to cover these expenses by sending an information packet once you've been accepted.
