Athletes in Action's Baseball Field opened in May 2007, and was dedicated as Grady's Field on August 1, 2009. It is completely outfitted in Astro Turf's latest version of all-weather synthetic turf with the exception of the clay pitcher's mound.
The field contains four bullpen mounds; two on the home team side, and two on the visiting team side for pitchers to warmup.
The baseball field is equipped with two 70' by 30' batting cages which can be sectioned off into tunnels and smaller 15' by 15' station-sized cages.
On-field batting practice setup includes a collapsed roll-away batting cage, padded L-screen, portable platform mound, 8-foot square base screen, and 16-foot shag screen.
Seating at Grady's Field accomodates approximately 550 spectators with chair and bench backs. Seating is covered and press box includes home and visitor radio booth and public address / scoreboard control room.
The field is home to Athletes in Action's Baseball team which competes in the MLB sponsored Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League.
Lights allow games to be conducted late into the evening throughout the year.
