In the summer of 1988, Jason traveled to Europe to play baseball for AIA. In 1989, Jason and the AIA baseball team finished 7th in National Baseball Congress World Series in Latin America. After playing in Europe in 1990, Jason felt led to join staff permanently. Orginally from Dallas, Texas, Jason pitched for University of Houston Cougars and served as a captain. Beginning of junior year, he transferred to Westmont College, graduating 2 years later. After marriage that December, Jason and wife, Debra, joined AIA baseball staff. Jason served as director of AIA's sports teams and baseball department. In 2008 he transitioned to lead the AIA Sports Complex and Retreat Center. Jason and Debra currently reside in Lebanon, Ohio with 3 beautiful sons, Noah, Elijah, and Jonah.
